New Webflow website for Sydney Privé, a luxury private tour operator in Sydney

For Sydney Privé, a company offering premium private tours, yacht cruises and tailor-made journeys in Australia, we designed a new website and built it in Webflow in two language versions.

Client expectations

Sydney Privé is a boutique company based in Sydney, run by Matt, a tour guide and sommelier. It offers private tours of Sydney, the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley, yacht charters on Sydney Harbour and multi-day tailor-made journeys across Australia. Matt came to us with a clear brief: move the website from WordPress to Webflow, make it noticeably faster and refresh the look without a visual revolution. He also wanted a simple panel where he could add a tour, a cruise or a blog post himself, and two language versions: English and Polish.

Purpose of the site

The new website was meant to:

  • load fast on every device and meet Core Web Vitals requirements,
  • lead visitors along the shortest path from the offer to a booking or an enquiry,
  • build visibility in Google through a clear structure and SEO-focused content.

Target group

Sydney Privé's offer is aimed at affluent international travellers, mainly from the USA, Poland and South-East Asia, aged 35–65. These are premium clients who value a personal approach, good food and wine, and service without any hassle. Visual storytelling about the place matters a lot to them, so the website has to look as good as the service itself.

Description of the implementation

The scope covered the UI design of all subpages, the Webflow build with a CMS, the language versions, and the handover of the site to the client together with training. It took just under eight weeks from kick-off to the finished build.

From reference sites to UI design

The client came with a ready site structure and content, so we skipped the UX wireframing stage and went straight to visual design. The starting point was a set of reference websites picked by Matt: brands from luxury travel and yacht charter. We began with the homepage, where we worked out the look and feel of the whole site, and once it was approved we designed the remaining subpages. The client reviewed each stage as a clickable prototype in Figma.

UI design

We based the aesthetics on navy and gold, the brand colours, and on large photos and video. The homepage opens with a film in the hero section, and right below it you see the three pillars of the offer: tours, cruises and tailor-made journeys. For the section about journeys across the continent we created a custom map of Australia in the brand colours. Matt himself gets a lot of space, because with this service clients are buying, above all, time with a specific guide.

The homepage of the website

Tour and cruise pages

We put the most work into the offer templates. Each tour comes in two versions: a basic package with a guide and a premium car, and a full package with meals and tastings. Instead of tabs or a toggle, we showed both packages side by side, with the price, start time and duration, so visitors can compare them without clicking. Further down there is a day plan broken into stages with photos, and a booking button that leads to an external booking system.

Cruises are not connected to the booking system, so on a cruise page the button opens an enquiry form with the charter date and the number of guests.

Webflow build and CMS

We built the site in Webflow from scratch, based on the Figma design. Tours, cruises, tailor-made journeys, blog posts, client reviews and Instagram tiles are CMS collections. Matt adds a new tour by filling in fields in the panel, and the offer page is generated from a template, so it always looks consistent. Every item has its own meta title and meta description fields, and the offer listing pages have a section for longer SEO copy.

Language versions

The site runs in English and Polish on Webflow Localization. Each version has its own CMS content and translated URLs, and the language switcher is available in the navigation on every subpage.

Performance, SEO and handover

The site has an international audience, so we kept it light. The animations are subtle: gentle section reveals on scroll and a curtain effect that uncovers the videos. Images are served in AVIF, the CSS and JS are minified, and the key templates include Schema structured data.

After the build we transferred the project to the client's Webflow account, ran a CMS training session and pointed the domain to the new site.

Effect

Today Sydney Privé has a website that looks like a premium brand and that the owner runs on his own. Matt adds tours, cruises and blog posts in both languages himself, without a developer. The offer is clear: visitors immediately see the options, prices and the way to book or send an enquiry. The site runs on Webflow hosting, so the plugin and update maintenance known from WordPress is gone.

In Google PageSpeed Insights the homepage scores 96/100 for performance on mobile and 99/100 on desktop, plus 100/100 for SEO and best practices (measured in October 2026).
