The task that has been set for us

Although AK Nova had an existing website, its layout was outdated and the CMS was unintuitive and difficult to use. The client was looking for a solution that would allow easy editing of content and development of the site in the following years. Expectations were also related to a better presentation of the offer and a comprehensive portfolio of implementation. The new website was intended to be consistent with the brand's visual identity, professional and in line with the principles of usability.

What is the goal of the website for AK Nova?

The aim of the project was to increase the recognition of the AK Nova brand in the environmental industry, as well as to improve communication with potential customers: local governments, municipal utilities and investors. It was also crucial to present a complex offer in a simple and understandable way and to stand out as a company offering comprehensive services — from obtaining permits to implementing investments.

Target group

The company operates on the Polish market. The website is designed for decision makers in local government units, managers of municipal plants and investors looking for modern, ecological solutions for environmental infrastructure. For this group, reliability, experience, quality of workmanship and transparency of the offer are important.

Briefly about the implementation

The website design for AK Nova was multi-layered – it combined an analysis of the existing website, the development of a new information architecture, visual design, and implementation in Webflow. The key was to simplify the communication of the complex offer and highlight the rich portfolio of technological implementations.

UX strategy and content architecture

We started the project by analyzing the existing service and consulting with the AK Nova team. Based on this, we have prepared a new information architecture — more transparent and focused on the three pillars of the company's activity: Nova-Komp technology, design and consulting and General execution.

We have also designed a new subpage structure with realizations — a key element for institutional clients. The investment descriptions, technological parameters and photos have been properly organized so that the site informs and builds brand authority at the same time.

The UX analysis of the new website allowed us to develop not only a new information architecture, but also to arrange the website in a new functional layout. When creating the website for AK Nova, we focused on the offer and its 3 fundamental parts: Nova-Komp technology, design and consulting and general contracting.

Another section and element of the website that turned out to be important is the presentation of the company's previous implementations, which, according to the Polish conditions, are impressive. These are several dozen technologically advanced investments for waste management in the latest, environmentally friendly, ecological technologies.

Graphic Design (UI)

The design of the site is a combination of technological minimalism with environmental elements. We opted for clean layouts, simple grids, consistent colors referring to ecology and engineering, and intuitive typography. The UI design also took into account mobile users — navigation and presentation of content are fully optimized for the smartphone screen.

The entire graphic design supports the professional, expert character of the company, emphasizing its experience, quality of services and modern approach to environmental investments.

Webflow implementation — speed, stability and full control of content

The new service was implemented in Webflow — a CMS system that gave AK Nova team full control over the content, and we were able to implement a 1:1 project according to the design. Webflow made it possible to quickly implement all graphic elements, extensive content layouts and custom sections (e.g. detailed project cards).

Thanks to the CMS system, the client can independently add new projects, edit the offer and expand the site in the future - without the need to involve programmers. The site loads quickly, works stably, and its HTML code is clean and optimized for SEO.

Effect

The website that was created for AK Nova is clear, simple and intuitive. Very attractive graphically and consistent with the visual identity of the company. Webflow website editing system is extremely stable, fast and user-friendly. All this means that the result of our work is a website ready to present the most important information for potential customers.
